Vehicle Description The Capital District Transportation Authority (CDTA) in Albany, NY is selling some of its’ used vehicles. CDTA is a public authority, and operates bus service in Albany, Rensselaer, Saratoga & Schenectady counties in upstate New York. This bus was used in transit service. Bus number – A110 VIN Number – 1GKS8BF45B1126153 Make/Model/Year – 2011 GMC Savana Van Passenger Seating Capacity - 7 Mileage of vehicle – 178,687 Description Vehicle is being sold “as is,” and CDTA makes no guarantees about the condition or drivability of the vehicle. The reserve price for this vehicle is set at $500. Vehicle Pickup Due to security issues, the following criteria must be followed – NO EXCEPTIONS · All winning bidders who wish to enter CDTA property must sign in and present a valid photo ID · All winning bidders who wish to enter CDTA must be accompanied by a CDTA staff member at all times · No work may be done on the bus on CDTA property. CDTA’s mechanics will not be available to charge the batteries, replace flat tires, etc. · Vehicle must be towed off CDTA property, NO EXCEPTIONS. There can be no attempts to drive the vehicle off the lot, even if it runs perfectly. · Once the vehicle is off of CDTA’s property, it cannot be brought back on. Availability Vehicle pickup must be made between 9:00am and 3:00pm, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. CDTA requires 24 business hours notice before pickup. CDTA stores buses in 3 locations. This vehicle is stored at CDTA’s Albany location: 110 Watervliet Ave Albany, NY 12206 Vehicle must be paid for within 7 days of winning auction and must be removed from our property (at buyers expense) within 14 days of winning auction. New York State buyers must pay 8% sales tax on this purchase. Tax-exempt buyers must present valid tax-exemption paperwork (resale certificate, tax-exempt form, etc.) Buyer must provide 24 business hours’ notice, with approval by CDTA, prior to vehicle pick up. CDTA accepts Cash-in Person, Certified Bank Checks, and Paypal ONLY. Note – Prior to vehicle removal, winning bidder will be required to sign a bill of sale, in order for CDTA to track its' disposal of surplus vehicles. CDTA requires the winning bidder’s name, company (should the vehicle be purchased for a company) address, and phone number. A sample bill of sale is available upon request. The bill of sale must be signed by the winning bidder before payment is made, as a copy of the signed bill of sale is required by CDTA’s treasury department in order to issue a receipt for the vehicle payment. 2011 Duramax Diesel van. Extended wheelbase, 2500 model, GVWR 8600 lbs. 6-speed automatic with tap shift. Van has vinyl seats in excellent shape and FM radio with AUX, and cargo divider behind the front seats. Rebuilt title due to a minor rear end collision. We only had to replace the rear bumper. Floor has a tiny buckle above the rear axle - can't even see it with the carpet on, and it doesn't affect functionality. Has 184k miles. Van runs very well. No check engine or other warning lights. Runs and drives excellent, transmission shifts correctly, has all four brand new LT245/75R16 tires on classic looking alloy aluminum rims just put in. I have stock rims if you prefer that instead. Gets 22-24mpg hwy. This is the latest generation Duramax, 6L90e transmission with grade-braking capability, there's no better van on the market for performing heavy-duty work or full-time towing. Van has passed all CA safety inspections and has been issued a rebuilt ("prior salvage") title. The van is smog-ready. There's no additional steps required for the buyer to get plates and drive the vehicle, in California or any other state. I specialize in rebuilding those GM vans. I just sold my other 2015 Duramax van a month ago. I have very deep knowledge of these vehicles, I hoarded tons of parts of them, and I have about a dozen of different vans in my yard: 8.1 big block, diesel, Quigley 4x4 conversion, refrigerator van, RV, box truck, shuttle bus, 1500, 2500, 3500, 4500 - you name it - I probably have it.
